Klay Thompson made a few peculiar moves online this weekend and NBA fans are talking about them.
Thompson unfollowed his Golden State Warriors on social media and also allegedly started following Paolo Banchero of the Orlando Magic.
Is this a sign that he’s ready to leave the Warriors and head to Florida to join Banchero and the Magic?
Speaking on “Run It Back,” Chandler Parsons said that Thompson is “up to something.”
“You don’t just unfollow the Warriors and follow [Banchero],” Parsons stated.
“I definitely think [Klay Thompson] is up to something… You don’t just unfollow the Warriors and follow [Paolo Banchero], the best player on the team…” – @ChandlerParsons pic.twitter.com/4rf3dFG36R

These moves from Thompson wouldn’t have generated so much buzz if it weren’t for the fact that many people expect the Warriors to part ways with him this summer.
Additionally, the Magic are reportedly interested in adding Thompson’s skills to their roster if he becomes available.
So when Thompson unfollows his own team and then follows the lead star of the squad that allegedly wants him, people notice.
There could be a very reasonable excuse for Thompson and there is a chance that he remains with the Warriors in the new season.
But this activity online is causing a lot of speculation.
Thompson must have known that this would have been noted by people.
In this day and age, every social media move is monitored by fans and reporters and Thompson was aware that people would see what he did.
That adds an extra layer of intrigue to this story because it means he isn’t afraid of the world seeing what he’s doing.
There were already so many questions about Thompson’s future with the Warriors but now there are many more because of his social media decisions.
