The start of NFL training camps in preparation for the 2023 season is right around the corner, with all 32 teams getting ready to see what they have with the players on their roster.
One team that surprised everyone last season was the Seattle Seahawks, with Pete Carroll and company defying the odds after trading superstar quarterback Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos.
The Seahawks far exceeded expectations while resurrecting the NFL career of veteran quarterback Geno Smith, who recently signed a lucrative contract extension with the team after making the Pro Bowl for the first time in his career.
With Smith back in the fold and the team having one of the most talented receiving corps in the NFL, the Seahawks could be a team to watch in 2023, as Emmanuel Acho of Fox Sports claims via Speak On FS1.

With D.K. Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, and rookie wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, the Seahawks have the receivers to take Smith’s game to another level during the 2023 campaign.
Along with what could be an incredible passing game, Seattle also has a talented backfield led by Kenneth Walker III and rookie running back Zach Charbonnet.
Although the Seahawks haven’t gotten much attention during this NFL offseason, Carroll’s squad could be a force to be reckoned with next season and may take advantage of an NFC West division with potentially only the San Francisco 49ers to compete with.
It’ll be interesting to see how things come together for the Seahawks in the coming months and whether this team can take another step in the 2023 season.
