The Seattle Seahawks found surprising success during Geno Smith’s first season as their starting quarterback.
After many around the league counted them out, the Seahawks found a way to make it into the playoffs.
To build upon their success, the Seahawks drafted Jaxon Smith-Njigba, adding a third receiver to a room that includes DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.
In a recent radio interview, when asked about the upcoming season, Smith-Njigba said: “The potential is crazy, and I love playing with great players.”

Smith-Njigba was one of the most highly-touted receivers in the 2023 NFL Draft class.
Ohio State has produced several elite receivers over the last several years, and Smith-Njigba will look to be the latest edition.
If his comments are any indication, he and his Seahawks teammates are ready to make another splash this year.
Metcalf is widely recognized as one of the most athletic receivers across the league.
While Lockett isn’t the athletic specimen that Metcalf is, he is one of the most sure-handed receivers in the sport.
If Smith-Njigba can perform similarly in the NFL as he did at Ohio State, the league might be in trouble.
Smith had an incredible year in 2022, and will only look to grow this season.
The NFC West could prove to be more difficult this season, assuming the health of the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams.
Have the Seahawks done enough to compete, not only within their division but with the league as a whole?
