The Los Angeles Chargers fought back to defeat the Denver Broncos 34-27 on Thursday night.
Thanks to the play of Pro Bowl quarterback Justin Herbert, the Chargers came back and won after being down by double digits in the second half.
Herbert played so well down the stretch that Fox Sports personality Danny Parkins had to apologize for doubting him.
“The quarterback is great…That second half was amazing…I want to just apologize…I’m sorry Justin. I’m sorry I doubted you,” Parkins said Friday morning via Breakfast Ball.

Against Denver, Herbert completed 23 of 31 passes (74.2%) for 284 yards and two touchdowns.
He also finished the game with a passer rating above 110.0 (110.1), the fourth time he has done that this season.
The former Oregon quarterback had to put on the Superman cape to help rescue his team as they were down by 11 points midway through the third quarter.
He did just that as the Chargers are now 9-6 and have moved ahead of the Broncos in the wildcard standings.
Despite holding onto the final playoff spot in the AFC, Denver is still in good shape to make the playoffs for the first time in a long time.
The Indianapolis Colts, Cincinnati Bengals, and Miami Dolphins are all 6-8 and have not yet been eliminated from playoff contention.
However, it would have to take an epic collapse from the Chargers or Broncos to give any of those teams hope with just a couple of games to go.
