The Las Vegas Raiders are one of the many NFL teams looking for a new head coach.
Though there have been rumors about them looking to hire Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, ESPN insider Adam Schefter said he believes that is not set in stone and other teams are still in the mix.
“I know everybody’s got Ben Johnson anointed to the Raiders. I’m not in that camp right now. I have to believe it before I see it,” Schefter said on “The Pat McAfee Show.”

Schefter also cited the Chicago Bears as a team that could still be in the running for him.
Johnson could be looking for structure and great communication within a franchise, which means he wants to work for and with a competent owner and front office.
With Tom Brady and Mark Davis running the Raiders, perhaps Johnson could have an interest in them.
A team like the Bears has struggled to remain consistent for a long time because they have been run poorly.
Would Johnson want to work for a team with poor management characteristics?
That could also take teams like the New York Jets or Dallas Cowboys out of the running.
But Johnson also might not want to coach in a loaded division such as the NFC North or AFC West.
Look for this process to remain ongoing as Johnson looks to end his tenure with the Lions on a high note this postseason with a possible Super Bowl appearance.
