The New Orleans Saints are still looking for their next head coach after they fired former head coach Dennis Allen midway through this past season.
In fact, they are the only NFL team remaining without a head coach.
However, some clarity has recently been brought to the situation by ESPN senior insider Adam Schefter.
“It looks like (the Saints) are targeting the Eagles’ offensive coordinator Kellen Moore,” Schefter said Thursday morning on “Get Up.”

Moore, 35, has had a quick rise to fame as an NFL coach.
After playing in the league for six years as a backup quarterback, the former Boise State star made his way onto the coaching staff of the Dallas Cowboys.
There, he eventually became an offensive coordinator and has held the same role in recent years with the Los Angeles Chargers and now the Philadelphia Eagles.
This year, the Eagles finished the regular season ranked eighth in total offense, second in rushing offense, seventh in scoring offense, and had just 15 giveaways (tied for fifth-fewest).
The Saints have likely taken notice of Moore’s work with All-Pro running back Saquon Barkley and are hoping he could do the same with star running back Alvin Kamara.
Now, if a deal were to be struck, the relationship between Moore and veteran quarterback Derek Carr would certainly be one to watch as both men could feel like they have something to prove.
For now, Moore is trying to help get the Eagles over the hump and win the Super Bowl before he can think about taking any head-coaching gig.
