The Detroit Lions have been a juggernaut in the NFL over the past two seasons.
Overseen by head coach Dan Campbell, offensive coordinator Ben Johnson is in charge of the league’s No. 1 scoring offense while defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn is leading one of the scrappiest units in the game.
This is why ESPN insider Adam Schefter believes that both Johnson and Glenn will be leaving Detroit this offseason.
“I’ll say it again: Aaron Glenn and Ben Johnson are getting head coaching jobs,” Schefter said on “The Pat McAfee Show.”

Schefter noted how the New York Jets, New Orleans Saints and Las Vegas Raiders are in play for Glenn.
Regardless of who hires them, they have earned the right to be head coaches in the NFL.
Johnson has helped reinvigorate the career of quarterback Jared Goff and turned players like Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jahmyr Gibbs and Penei Sewell into superstars.
Glenn has built a top-10 defense without Pro Bowl edge rusher Aidan Hutchinson and linebacker Alex Anzalone for much of the season.
These coaches know how to motivate and lead their players to play their best in the biggest moments.
Now, it could soon be time for them to be tasked with guiding an entire franchise toward greatness.
Fans in Chicago, Las Vegas, Jacksonville, New York, New Orleans and Dallas are waiting to see if their team can land one of these big names in the coming weeks.
