The Minnesota Vikings have had a magical 2024 season.
They currently have a record of 14-2, and if they beat the Detroit Lions this Sunday, they will be the NFC’s No. 1 seed.
A lot of that success this season has to do with star running back Aaron Jones, who came over on a one-year deal after spending the first part of his career with the Green Bay Packers.
The former UTEP star is hoping to finish his career in Minnesota.
“I hope to be here to the end of my career, honetly. This is an excellent place…all across the board,” Jones said recently (via insider Andrew Krammer).

No. 33 in purple and gold is one of the most underrated stars in the NFL.
He has started all 16 games so far and has rushed for over 1,000 yards for the fourth time in his career.
A former Pro-Bowler and co-league leader in rushing touchdowns, Jones has been very productive for being a fifth-round pick.
It will be interesting to see what the Vikings decide to do when it comes time to give Jones a new contract.
He will be 31 years old next season, and although he has not been injured this season, he has some injury history.
If the Vikings make a deep playoff run this year and Jones is on his game, a multi-year deal could be in the cards for him.
The Vikings have a fascinating offseason ahead of them, as they must decide between Jones and Pro Bowl quarterback Sam Darnold.
