The New York Jets are in search of a new head coach to lead them into the future.
One of the many head coach candidates that they have interviewed is Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn, who really likes the Jets job.
In fact, according to insider Brian Costello, Glenn has told people that the Jets are his first choice for a head-coaching job.

This would certainly be interesting if the Jets ultimately decided that they want Glenn to be their next head coach.
A former cornerback in the league for 15 years, Glenn has the mindset of a player and has proven how good of a coach he can be.
This Lions defense finished the regular season ranked fifth in rushing defense, seventh in scoring defense, and they were one of seven teams that recorded 16+ interceptions.
Glenn has been able to field a really good defense without the likes of Pro Bowl edge-rusher Aidan Hutchinson in the fold which can’t go unnoticed.
Teams like the Jets could use a coach like Glenn who has the ability to help his players take it to the next level.
Glenn, a former three-time Pro-Bowler, played for the Jets from 1994-2001 after getting drafted in the first round out of Texas A&M by New York.
Time will tell to see if this is the direction that the Jets would like to take in the coming days.
If it is, all eyes will be on Glenn and the new general manager, whoever that may be, as they look to decide the future of quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
