Despite constant domination on the football field, Aaron Donald has been subject to many retirement rumors over the past several months.
While the Los Angeles Rams star has been relatively quiet in the media as of late, he recently provided an update in a press conference.
“You never want to end your career the way how it was last year, so it never really crossed my mind,” Donald said, per NFL.com.

If these comments are any indication, it appears that Rams fans will be able to see Donald on the field again in 2023.
Last year, Donald only participated in 11 games, mainly due to an ankle injury.
This was a rare occasion for him, considering he had only missed a handful of games in the eight prior seasons.
Donald is hungry to get back to work for the 2023 season, contributing in a big way to the Rams defense.
Just one year after winning the Super Bowl, the Rams collapsed, finishing the season with a 5-12 record.
However, the team was ravaged by injuries, which was one of the main reasons for their downfall.
Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp, the team’s top two offensive options, were out for nearly the entire season.
Donald was just one defensive piece that was injured, but several of his other teammates succumbed to injuries as well.
With any luck, 2022 was just a fluke for these Rams, and they will look to compete once again this year.
They’ll have to fight against their NFC West counterparts, who won’t go down without a fight.
