In 2021, the Philadelphia Eagles were a decent team, as they finished 9-8 and reached the playoffs, where they lost in the Wild Card round to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
But shortly afterward, they traded for wide receiver A.J. Brown, and he helped take them to the next level.
With him, the Eagles won 14 games last season and reached the Super Bowl, only to blow a 10-point halftime lead and lose to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
This season, they’re hoping to take the final step and win their second Vince Lombardi Trophy.
Brown talked about the connection he has with quarterback Jalen Hurts, via NFL Network.

Brown played his first three seasons with the Tennessee Titans, and during that time, he was a solid receiver, but last season, he took things into the stratosphere.
He had 1,496 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns in 2022, which earned him his second Pro Bowl nod, and he became Philly’s top threat on offense.
He and DeVonta Smith make up one of the most potent wide receiver duos in the NFL, and they helped the team finish third in both points scored and total yards last season.
This season, the NFC East has gotten more competitive, as the Dallas Cowboys have added a couple of new weapons, while the Washington Commanders are hoping to surprise people.
It is rare for a team that loses in the Super Bowl to make it back there the following year, let alone win there, but that’s exactly what the Eagles are aiming to get done this fall and winter.
