Everybody around the NFL is talking about Lamar Jackson right now.
The Louisville product revealed that he requested a trade away from the Baltimore Ravens, with countless fans urging their respective teams to make a run at him.
Notably, however, it seems like it’s not just the fans who want Jackson to suit up for their team.
Recently, Miami Dolphins Safety DeShon Elliott took to Twitter to openly recruit Jackson to join their team, which probably wasn’t the smartest thing to do, all things considered.

The Dolphins just picked up Tua Tagovailoa’s fifth-year option and shut the door on any potential move for Jackson or any other quarterback, so it’s clear that they’re more than comfortable with the direction they are heading in right now.
Tua was an MVP candidate when healthy and finally proved that he could be a franchise QB, so maybe trying to get a guy to replace him isn’t going to be met with good eyes within the team’s locker room.
Jackson had been tied with a move to Miami for years now, considering he would reportedly love to play for his hometown team.
But even though some believe he would be an upgrade over Tua — who suffered multiple concussions last season —the Dolphins might not feel the same way right now.
So, it’ll be interesting to see how Tagovailoa and other Dolphins players take this tweet by Elliott, but you better believe things will be quite awkward when they come across each other in the locker room next season.
