The 2022 NFL offseason has been filled with drama and trades.
Some trades made sense for both teams.
However, these head-scratching trades gave fans something to talk about.
But even with buzz over the trades, the main issue is with team management making bonehead trades.
So which three trades during the NFL offseason were true head-scratchers?
3. Titans Trading A. J. Brown To The Eagles For Draft Pick
After trading Brown, Tennessee thought they made a good move.
Brown wanted more money and contract talks weren’t going anywhere.
However, trading for a receiver that’s proven to work for quarterback Ryan Tannehill for a rookie receiver is odd.
They took away a player their quarterback has chemistry with and replaced him with Treylon Burks.
The trade is already looking bad, with Burks being limited in OTAs for the Titans.

What's your concern level with Treylon Burks being THIS limited at #Titans OTAs? 1-10 https://t.co/w7l7GQK0zp

If he is dealing with an injury, what does that mean for the 2022 season?
They would have been best suited to work out a deal with Brown, keeping the chemistry going on offense.
However, they got themselves a cheaper receiver who might miss games during 2022.
2. Commanders Trading For Carson Wentz
It was clear the Commanders weren’t happy with their quarterback situation.
However, trading for Carson Wentz seems more like a desperate cry for help than trying to get the right player.
Wilbon just now on PTI: “[Carson Wentz trade] smells of desperation by the Washington Football franchise. It is a desperate franchise on every level. Oh my God this is so laughable that I can’t wait to root against all of it, it will give me pleasure to do that.” pic.twitter.com/O7b2t0NZ3y

With players like Jimmy Garoppolo and Deshaun Watson still available for Washington before this trade, it made no sense to go for him.
But maybe the Commanders believe Wentz can make something out of their offense in 2022.
It would work out for the Indianapolis Colts if Wentz does well, as they get a higher draft pick if he plays at least 70% of the offensive snaps.
They got the best end of the trade, while Washington might have gotten fleeced.
The only way Washington gets the better end is if Wentz can have the best season of his career with the Commanders.
1. Ravens Trading Hollywood Brown To Cardinals For Draft Pick
On draft night, the Baltimore Ravens made a shocking trade with the Arizona Cardinals.
They would send their best receiver left on the roster in exchange for a first-round pick.
The pick was used to draft safety Kyle Hamilton.
While fans were shocked, the Ravens starting quarterback wasn’t happy at all with the move.
In multiple tweets during the night, Lamar Jackson made it known he wasn’t happy.

Taking away one of his offensive weapons, after already losing Sammy Watkins, doesn’t help the Ravens’ offense.
On top of trading Brown, they didn’t replace him with the pick they received for him.
They opted to draft a defensive player, the complete opposite of what the Titans did when they traded their receiver.
Everything about the move seemed odd for the Ravens.
However, it made perfect sense for the Cardinals to make this move.
It puts Brown with his former teammate from college, Kyler Murray.
So while one team got the good end, Jackson and Ravens fans are still wondering why they shipped off Brown.
