The market for NFL quarterbacks and wide receivers has risen greatly over the past couple of years, and there should be several players who have benefitted from that boom.
One of them is having an underrated season for a team that may end up winning its division.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are somewhat unexpectedly on the verge of finishing first in the NFC South, and a big reason for their success is wide receiver Mike Evans.
He has caught 65 passes for 915 yards and 11 touchdowns, and ever since fellow Bucs wideout Chris Godwin suffered a season-ending injury, Evans has stepped up his game.
It has put him not only on the verge of making history but also collecting a significant financial reward.

The Buccaneers impressed many by winning their division last season behind a stellar year from quarterback Baker Mayfield, who finally put it all together and made the Pro Bowl.
This year, after a 4-2 start, the Bucs lost four games in a row and seemed doomed, especially after Godwin was lost for the season, but they have since won five of their past six games.
Mayfield is having another outstanding year, and Evans has helped keep things together.
At 31 years old, the receiver seems to have plenty left in the tank as Tampa Bay tries to figure out how to get to the next level and become a Super Bowl team again.
