The New Orleans Pelicans have lost five games in a row and players on the team are obviously very frustrated.
Zion Williamson is one of them and he attempted to keep his frustrations in check on Sunday night following another loss.
According to a video shared by HoopsHype, Williamson said that he is “trusting the process” of the team’s new offensive plans.
“I’m trying my best to buy in right now,” Williamson said.

Things have changed during Williamson’s many absences and the team is trying something different in 2023-24.
That is obvious when watching a game when Williamson doesn’t get as many touches as he used to.
In 2022-23, his average was 26 points, 7 rebounds, and 4.6 assists.
This season, he is putting up 21.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 4.1 assists.
On Sunday, he scored 18 points, 2 rebounds, and 4 assists while Brandon Ingram led the way with 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists.
Obviously, head coach Willie Green and his staff had to make some alterations last season when they lost Williamson for months.
They simply couldn’t plan around him because he had grown unreliable due to injuries.
They carried that thinking into the new year and although Williamson is still a major part of the team, he’s not the clear and constant focal point.
That might be hard to accept for Williamson and it’s created some mixed results.
New Orleans’ slate of tough games will continue in the days ahead.
They have to face off against the Dallas Mavericks again on Tuesday night for their In-Season Tournament game.
Then they will be challenged by the Denver Nuggets, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Sacramento Kings twice in a row.
They have lost five in a row as they adjust to this new approach to playing.
How many more will the Pelicans lose before they score another victory?
