Zion Williamson of the New Orleans Pelicans hasn’t played basketball in nearly a year due to a foot injury that has required surgery and extensive rehabilitation.
But if the latest footage of him is any indication, he is well on his way to suiting up soon.
More footage of Williamson practicing on the floor was released on Sunday night and it showed him dunking in fine form, seemingly moving with ease and tremendous power.

The clip was a beautiful sight for fans of the Pelicans, who have been waiting for months for good news about Williamson.
He is supposed to be the leader of the team and its centerpiece.
Williamson on the team could make a huge difference and make them Finals contenders.
Although the team is doing quite well without him right now.
Will We See Williamson?
Some recent reporting suggested that he feels ready to play now and is eager to get back with his team.
However, the front office and medical team for the Pelicans feel that Williamson isn’t quite ready and don’t want to risk it.
Therefore, the big man remains on the bench.
Without him, the Pelicans are having a strong start to the playoffs: they evened their series against the Phoenix Suns on Sunday and are now 2-2 going into Game 5.
There is no doubt that the team would be even better with Williamson on their side.
However, they have come together and matured and grown in some huge ways this year without him.
Williamson is looking better and better and that’s great news.
The thought of him joining up with this Pelicans lineup in a few months is truly exciting.
