The Dallas Cowboys are expected to be a force to be reckoned with during the 2023 NFL season, with the team being stacked on both sides of the football and ready to prove they are the best all-around team in the NFC.
Although everything seems to be heading in the right direction for America’s Team, the Cowboys still had one major piece of business to deal with, which was coming to terms with eight-time All-Pro guard Zack Martin on a new deal.
As arguably one of the best, if not the best offensive lineman in the NFL, Martin felt he was underpaid for what he does for the team in comparison to others at the position around the league.
With Martin being crucial to the team’s success on offense, Dallas had to get something done and was able to do so, with reports coming out that he’ll make $18 million annually each of the next two seasons.
As a sign that Martin is content with the reworked deal, he took to Twitter to let it be known that he’s headed back to work.
Back to Work.

Unlike many positions on the football, an elite offensive lineman like Martin is irreplaceable, as the Cowboys losing him or dealing with a lengthy holdout would’ve been devastating to their chances of competing during the upcoming season.
With Martin back in the fold, Dak Prescott and company can breathe a sigh of relief while preparing for a season where the team intends and hopes to go the distance in a weak NFC.
