With NFL training camps getting underway this week, there will be some interesting absences for certain teams.
That is because certain players who are unhappy with their contracts will hold out.
One player we know is holding out is Dallas Cowboys star offensive guard Zack Martin.
According to Adam Schefter, Martin is unhappy that the Cowboys will not restructure his deal.
Cowboys’ six-time All-Pro guard and team captain Zack Martin, who has been unhappy about the team’s lack of interest in restructuring his contract, did not report for the start of training camp, per source.

Martin is the best offensive guard in the sport and someone the Cowboys cannot be without.
But, his presence at training camp is not a necessity.
With a veteran like Martin, he does not need training camp to be ready for the season.
The Cowboys just need him in the building for Week 1.
It would be shocking if the Cowboys do not figure this out with Martin soon.
They understand how important he is to their success.
Dallas has consistently been one of the best offenses in the NFL over the past seven years.
As long as Dak Prescott has been under center they have been an elite scoring team.
Martin has also played a role in that as he can dominate at both run and pass-blocking.
In his nine-year career, Martin has made eight Pro Bowls and eight All-Pro teams.
Even at the age of 32, Martin has plenty left to give to the Cowboys.
Hopefully, both sides will be able to agree to a restructured deal.
Martin is the leader of that offensive line and an irreplaceable part of their success.
