The Arizona Diamondbacks might be the biggest surprise in MLB this season.
Not many people expected them to be a playoff team let alone one of the best teams in MLB.
The D-Backs have a record of 41-25 on the season and that is the best in the National League.
One of the main reasons for their success has been the play of rookie Corbin Carroll.
Carroll was once the top prospect in baseball and is showing why this season.
According to Codify, Carroll is leading the NL in OPS+ with 168.

With the season Carroll is having he is playing himself into MVP consideration.
Through 63 games, Carroll is hitting .313 with 13 home runs, 34 RBI, and 19 stolen bases.
He has been the one driving force in the Diamondbacks’ lineup this season.
What makes Carroll great is that he can do it all.
He is a five-tool player who is already playing at an elite level at the age of 22.
Many people are waiting for the Diamondbacks to come back to Earth, but it has not happened yet.
They seem to be a serious threat in the NL West and are looking to dethrone the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Carroll is well on-pace to make his first All-Star team and he should not be the only Diamondbacks player represented.
While Carroll is their best player, the Diamondbacks have built a strong roster of players.
It should surprise no one if they are playing in October.
