The Chicago Bears continue their solid offseason by adding yet another hardnosed veteran to their roster.
They agreed to a one-year deal with free agent DE Yannick Ngakoue, who took to Twitter to confirm the news by sharing a Bear emoji.

The deal is reportedly worth $10 million, fully guaranteed, and he could earn an additional $500,000 in incentives.
Ngakoue will hope to find his footing in the Windy City, considering this will be his fifth team in the past three seasons.
He’s one of the best pass-rushers in the game, coming off posting 9.5 sacks with the Indianapolis Colts last season, and he’s logged at least eight sacks every year since he entered the league.
The Bears had been on the hunt to improve their defense since the beginning of the offseason, especially in terms of pass rush.
They logged just 20 sacks last season, which ranked dead last in the league.
Also, no one had more than four sacks on the team.
Ngakoue should provide plenty of help in that regard.
Throughout the course of his career, the 28-year-old has logged 65 sacks, 65 tackles for loss, 135 quarterback hits, and 31 forced fumbles, and he knows this might be his final chance to establish himself in the league after bouncing around from team to team way more often than a player of his caliber should.
