MLB and New York Yankees fans decided that outfielder Aaron Judge deserved to be a starter in the upcoming 2022 All-Star Game.
They made him the highest vote-getter in the game, earning him a berth as a starting outfielder.
Now, the Yankees want to get their other two finalists, catcher Jose Trevino and fellow outfielder/designated hitter Giancarlo Stanton, their ticket to Los Angeles as starters, too.
“Let’s get our stars in as Starters! Vote @HipHipJose5 & @Giancarlo818 for the All-Star Game once per day through Friday, July 8!” the Yankees Twitter account wrote on Tuesday.

It won’t be easy, though.
Trevino is competing against Alejandro Kirk of the Toronto Blue Jays.
Kirk has been one of the best (if not the best) backstop in the junior circuit, both offensively and defensively.
Both Trevino And Stanton Deserve All-Star Gigs
But Trevino has been one of the best framers in the league and also boasts a strong .255/.303/.440 line and seven home runs.
Meanwhile, Stanton will compete with Mike Trout, George Springer, and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. for the two spots alongside Judge in the American League outfield.
Trout should be able to secure one spot, given that he remains one of the most feared sluggers in MLB.
The other one should be up for grabs.
Stanton has showcased his strong bat, hitting .245/.328/.519 with 20 home runs before Tuesday’s games.
If he remains healthy for the rest of the year, he has a pretty good shot at his first 40-home-run season with the Yankees uniform and his first one since he bopped 59 in 2017.
Both Trevino and Stanton deserve to be All-Stars come July 19.
Can they do it as starters?
