To nobody’s surprise, Aaron Judge is the American League MVP for the 2022 season.
In what could have been his final season as a member of the New York Yankees, Judge left everything out on the field.
The slugger hit for a .311 average, drove in 131 runs, and hit an American League single-season record 62 home runs.
In addition to that, Judge posted an 11.4 fWAR, a .425 on-base percentage, a.686 slugging percentage, and a 1.111 OPS.
The newly crowned MVP also stole 16 bases.
On Twitter, the Yankees posted a video showing all of his stats from the 2022 season and just how dominant he was at the plate.

Judge Wins AL MVP
Judge, now a free agent, had a memorable year in what could prove to be his final season as a Yankee.
But if this was his last year in the Bronx, then he certainly saved his best for last.
The 30-year-old slugger rarely found himself in any slumps this season and was hitting home runs like nobody’s business.
Even while the Yankees were in their slump, nearly losing a 15.5-game lead in the American League East, Judge continued to provide them with offensive consistency and tremendous power.
In fact, if not for the slugger, the Yankees might have endured a total collapse and possibly fallen short of the postseason.
But thanks to Judge, the Yankees managed to win 99 games and capture an AL East title.
Now, as free agency continues, the market will heat up for the AL MVP, and teams will be competing with each other to try and land the slugger.
