For the first time since June 26, Harrison Bader will suit up in a Major League uniform to play.
Bader was placed on the 10-Day Injured List on June 27 by the St. Louis Cardinals with right foot plantar fasciitis.
Bader was traded to the New York Yankees at the trade deadline in exchange for Jordan Montgomery.
Obviously, he has yet to suit up for the Yankees.
But tonight, the Yankees will finally get a chance to see their new addition in action.
Yankees writer Eric Hubbs took to Twitter to wish everybody a Happy Harrison Bader Day.

Yanks Fans Hyped For Bader’s Return
Hubbs wasn’t the only Yankees fan who was pumped up about the return of Bader.
Yankees fans are looking forward to tonight, when they’ll finally have the opportunity to see one of the best defensive outfielders in all of baseball.

Bader was one of five Cardinals last season to win a Gold Glove, along with Paul Goldschmidt, Nolan Arenado, Tommy Edman, and Tyler O’Neill.
But there’s more to his game than just his defense.
He can run and can also pop a few home runs here and there.

Ultimately, Yankees fans are rightfully excited about their new addition.
Bader may not be a superstar just yet, but he can do a little bit of everything out on the baseball field and has a ton of upside.
Cardinals fans loved him for it, and Yankees fans will probably come to realize they feel the same way about him.
Prior to the injury, Bader was hitting .256 with five home runs and 21 RBI.
With him returning, the Yankees get a five-tool player with a lot of upside and potential at just the right time as they look to close out the AL East race.

Bader is awesome. You will see. He’s not Mookie Betts. But you can pretend that he is and be very happy with the expectations.
