The days of Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield look to be coming to an end.
After taking a meeting with quarterback Deshaun Watson, Mayfield felt snubbed by the team he has led over the years.
Now sources are saying Mayfield wants out of Cleveland.
#Browns QB Baker Mayfield has requested a trade, per sources.
Cleveland has been hoping to move forward after its Deshaun Watson pursuit and offered to fly to Texas to meet with Mayfield. But from the QB’s perspective, the bridge is burned and it’s time to move on now.

However, there is a push back on the Browns’ willingness to part ways with the quarterback.
The team doesn’t want to lose Mayfield, seeing they are out of the Watson sweepstakes.
Trading Mayfield might not seem like an option now for the Browns, as most QB needy teams have later picks in the NFL 2022 draft.
With two teams still fighting for Watson, the dust will need to settle before the Browns can take the best option on a possible Mayfield trade.
Browns Need To Trade Mayfield
Mayfield’s betrayal from the Browns will poison the team if they don’t trade him as requested.
Keeping him around at this point will only hurt the Browns’ chances of getting a replacement for him in 2022.
Houston has the number three pick in the draft and is the first team that needs a quarterback, putting the Browns out of the top quarterback pick.
The Carolina Panthers would be the first team the Browns could trade Mayfield to for an excellent first-round pick.
That can only happen if the Panthers don’t acquire Watson from Houston.
A failed attempt to acquire Watson could leave the door open for the Browns to ship Mayfield there.
The Browns’ next team would be the Atlanta Falcons, as they are looking to move on from Matt Ryan.
If they land Watson, who the team wants as Ryan’s replacement, that might not happen.
The Browns’ current best candidate to take Mayfield would be the Seattle Seahawks.
A Browns/Seahawks Trade: How Would It Work?
The Seahawks have the ninth overall pick in this year’s draft.
The Seahawks acquired this pick from the DenverBroncos with their trade of Russell Wilson to the team.
The Browns can offer Seattle Mayfield in exchange for the ninth overall pick and possibly other picks or players.
Mayfield would be a good fit for Seattle, who will need an experienced quarterback this season.

The picks they have would also give the Browns a way to recover something in return for Mayfield.
The Seahawks are also the only team with a top ten draft pick that needs a quarterback and isn’t involved with Watson.
That makes the team the perfect suitors for a Mayfield trade from Cleveland.
Should The Browns Wait Until Watson Is Traded To Make A Deal?
The Browns could wait until Watson has found a new team before trading away Mayfield.
But that move could be risky, as they would only move up a maximum of three spots compared to a trade with the Seahawks.
While those three spots can help the Browns land the second-best quarterback on the board, would it be worth it?
Moving that far up might take a potential for additional draft capital compensation off the table with a trade.
The Browns should talk with Seattle about a trade because this gives the Browns the best bang for their buck.

A top 10 pick for a AVERAGE Baker Mayfield are you out of your mind??? Seattle would never ever do that.

I agree, Even a 2nd round pick is questionable now that the Seahawks have the advantage. The Browns now need to deal Mayfield, while the Seahawks still have options
