The NBA Finals are in full-swing right now, with the Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics currently fighting for the biggest trophy and highest honor in the league.
Boston hasn’t been to the Finals in a while – more than a decade in fact.
As for the Warriors, they have been here for six of the last eight years.
And the team’s big three has been a part of each trip.
The trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green has won 18 Finals games together.
According to @EliasSports, that’s one shy of matching the most by any All-NBA trio in the last 50 seasons. pic.twitter.com/Mq6dcFkAD4

In fact, the combination of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green have won 18 Finals game as a unit.
That is just one game short of tying Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobili’s modern record of 19 Finals victories.
It’s very likely that the Warriors will win at least one more game in this series.
If they get their wish and win the championship, that means they will surpass Duncan, Parker, and Ginobili.
Is this now the best trio in NBA Finals history?
Winning Warriors
There is no denying how powerful and skilled Curry, Thompson, and Green are – especially when playing in the playoffs and Finals.
There is a reason they keep going back to the Finals again and again.
Yet, the more they win, the older they get…and the more chances a younger team has to slip in and claim victory.
The Celtics are young, skilled, cohesive, and are a result of years of building and planning.
If anyone can take down this incredible trio, it could be them.
Even if the Warriors don’t win this Finals, the greatness of Curry with Thompson and Green is unquestionable.
Win or lose, there really is nothing like this group.
