This year, the NBA All-Star Weekend will take place at Gainbridge Fieldhouse and Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Even though it isn’t the most exciting of places in the United States, it is a place that is extremely passionate about basketball and takes the sport as seriously as anywhere else in the nation.
In 2025, however, there will be a change of pace, it seems, as the Golden State Warriors are expected to host the 2025 NBA All-Star Weekend at the Chase Center in San Francisco, according to Bloomberg via Legion Hoops.

Usually, when a franchise builds a new stadium or arena in any professional sport, they are rewarded with a major event like NBA All-Star Weekend or the Super Bowl.
The Chase Center was built in 2019 and is about as state-of-the-art as it comes when talking about basketball arenas around the country, as it cost $1.4 billion to build at that time.
With the Warriors still having their star players with the franchise, which could change if someone is traded or Klay Thompson doesn’t re-sign next summer, it’s a good time to have All-Star Weekend in the Bay Area.
It’ll be interesting to see how different the team may be at that time, as there’s no telling what will happen with Chris Paul and if Thompson is in the franchise’s long-term plans, but it will be a great place to host this annual event regardless, as San Francisco is one of the most unique cities in the country.
