The Golden State Warriors are currently fighting their way through the NBA Finals, hoping to take down the Boston Celtics and win yet another ring.
A major part of the team’s success is Stephen Curry, of course, who has long been the face and heart and soul of the Warriors.
Curry is a few years old than he was during his last playoffs run but he’s performing better than ever in many ways.
Steph is the ONLY player in #NBAPlayoffs history to record 25+ PTS, 5+ 3PM, and 3+ STL in back-to-back games. He's done it twice.

In fact, Curry is now the only player in the history of the NBA playoffs to record back-to-back games with 25+ points, 5+ three-pointers made, and 3+ steals.
Curry hasn’t just done this once, he’s done it twice: the first time was in the 2017 Western Conference Finals against the San Antonio Spurs and he’s just done it again against the Boston Celtics in the Finals.
If the Warriors win it all, will Curry finally get his Finals MVP trophy?
A Finals Warrior
Curry is a terrific player all year long.
In fact, he’s still easily one of the best players in the league at 34 years old.
But when he’s in the playoffs, Curry steps it up and starts playing at a higher level.
Yet, despite being in the Finals six times and winning three of those times, Curry has never been given the coveted prize of Finals MVP.
However, that could change this year.
In fact, if Curry continues to perform as he has been and his Warriors claim victory, he’s an odds-on favorite for the big award.
However, getting that far won’t be easy.
While the Celtics may have given up Game 2, they stole Game 1 and are going to be fired up as the series move to Boston.
They’ll do anything to slow Curry down.
