Ever since the Golden State Warriors started changing the game with superstar Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson proving to the rest of the league that three-pointers can be shot efficiently, the team’s value has gone up every single year.
With Curry and company now having racked up four NBA titles during the Steve Kerr era in the Bay Area, the Warriors have leaped ahead of the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Lakers on the list of the most valuable franchises in the league.
No other teams in the league have come close to matching the Lakers and Knicks on this list, but the Warriors have changed everything, as they now sit comfortably ahead of one of the most successful franchises in professional sports in Los Angeles and the team in the biggest market in the Big Apple.
According to Front Office Sports, the Warriors are now worth more than a billion more than the Lakers and Knicks, which is impressive, to say the least.

Even though the Warriors appear to be on the downside of the Curry-led era, as this team may have only a few more years of this franchise being led by the superstar, Golden State has left a lasting impact on the league.
Along with being one of the most successful franchises in the league over the past decade or more, the team made the move to San Francisco and now calls the Chase Center home, which certainly helped boost their value compared to their days in Oakland.
