Von Miller is one of the few active NFL players that has nothing to prove.
He was the Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl 50 and was also a key contributor for the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LVI.
The linebacker has also been a Pro Bowler and an All-Pro selectee.
Therefore, his place among the game’s greats is settled, regardless of what he decides to do next.
However, it seems like he gave a hint on where he wants to play after spending roughly half a season with the Rams.
I kinda want that old thing back.. 5280

Miller tweeted, “I kinda want that old thing back.. 5280.”
He is clearly alluding to the elevation of Denver, Colorado, a mile up in the sky.
That said, could it be that he yearns to return to the Denver Broncos?
Nothing is certain, however, because the Broncos seem to be on a rebuild and might not want the veteran defensive ace back unless he accepts less money.
However, the numbers are amenable to his potential return at the Mile High City.
The Broncos have around $39 million in cap space which is big enough to absorb a contract he deserves.
His Tweet Could Mean Nothing
As always, any statement from athletes gets amplified and dissected as if it was a science experiment.
Perhaps he just misses being in Denver and nothing else.
After all, he called it home for ten years and he’s accustomed to the weather which is wildly the opposite of Los Angeles.
Besides, why wouldn’t Miller be happy on a team that gives him a legitimate shot of winning another Super Bowl?
Getting nine sacks in eight games for the Rams is a strong indication that he’s enjoying playing behind three-time Defensive Player of the Year Aaron Donald.
