The 2023 NFL season has gone much differently than the Minnesota Vikings envisioned.
Kirk Cousins suffered a season-ending injury in the middle of an impressive run, putting the Vikings in a compromising position at quarterback.
Justin Jefferson also missed significant time, putting this team in a difficult spot.
Despite the injuries the Vikings have encountered up and down the roster this season, they are still in the hunt for a playoff spot.
With this in mind, the Vikings have decided to give rookie quarterback Jaren Hall another chance to prove himself.
What better time than a must-win game against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football?
In a conversation shared by the Vikings via ProFootballTalk, Hall said, “I think I’ve gotten better in every area since I first got here, but there’s obviously a lot to still prove.”

Hall believes that he has learned a lot from the Vikings organization but also recognizes that he has much to learn.
Being a quarterback in the NFL isn’t a walk in the park, especially for players who want to stay in the league for a long time.
With any luck, Hall will get valuable experience by starting against the Packers and hopefully will get another chance to start in Week 18.
The Vikings have many questions to answer in the offseason, especially regarding the quarterback position.
If Hall plays well enough over the next two games, the Vikings could consider keeping him around as a backup in 2024 and he could potentially compete for the starting gig.
