The Minnesota Vikings are preparing for a home date with the Atlanta Falcons this Sunday.
However, that doesn’t mean that they aren’t making changes to the practice squad.
According to the team’s social media page, they signed offensive tackle Coy Cronk to the practice squad and placed guard Henry Byrd on the Practice Squad – Injured List.
These are minor moves from a team looking to go on a run this postseason.

This Vikings team might be the quietest 10-2 team in the history of the NFL.
They play in the most top-heavy division in the league, which is the NFC North.
The Detroit Lions are in first place at 12-1 and the Green Bay Packers could also be bound for the playoffs at 9-4.
Minnesota also plays in a conference with the 10-2 Philadelphia Eagles, 8-5 Washington Commanders, and the 7-5 Seattle Seahawks.
The point is that there are plenty of NFC teams with talent who could potentially make some noise in the postseason.
It remains to be seen if Kevin O’Connell and Co. can win their own division or not with how good the Lions have been so far, but the Vikings have beaten quality teams that are over .500 in the Green Bay Packers, Houston Texans, and Arizona Cardinals.
It would be unwise for opposing teams to sleep on the Vikings seeing as they have plenty of elite players on both sides of the ball.
If they can take care of business against the NFC South-leading Falcons and former Viking Kirk Cousins, they have a great path forward to the playoffs.
