The Minnesota Vikings are one of the hottest teams in the NFL right now as they’ve managed to reel off five consecutive wins which is currently the longest streak.
The Vikings have overcome a slow start to the 2023 NFL season and have even survived the loss of Kirk Cousins after he suffered a torn Achilles.
Minnesota has been able to cobble wins together thanks to the combined efforts of Joshua Dobbs and the defense.
Dobbs has been a revelation this season as he’s stepped in as the starter and instantly clicked with his receiving group.
Meanwhile, the defense has improved steadily week to week thanks to defensive coordinator Brian Flores.
With the Vikings set to take on the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football, the team is elevating veteran linebacker Anthony Barr from the practice squad via Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Barr is no stranger to Minnesota as he spent the bulk of his career there before spending one season with the Dallas Cowboys.
After his stint with the Cowboys was over, Barr went unsigned in free agency though he eventually landed on the Vikings’ practice squad.
His elevation comes in the wake of the news that Jordan Hicks would miss significant time with a leg injury, so Barr will see some snaps against the Broncos.
How much he has left in the tank remains to be seen, but he should at least be able to provide some stability at the position group against a Denver team that’s quietly been playing at a high level.NEXT: Former NFL QB Praises 1 Minnesota Vikings Unit
