The Chicago White Sox were visiting the Los Angeles Dodgers on Thursday night.
The Dodgers walked it off in the bottom of the 11th inning, with a long Freddie Freeman single.
You wouldn’t think it was a single by watching the play live, but it was.
Here is what happened:
Luis Robert Jr. didn't even move on that Freddie Freeman walk off!

The score was 4-4 in the bottom of the 11th.
The bases were loaded and Freeman was at the plate.
He hit a long fly ball to center field.
Since the outfield was playing in to have a better chance to get a runner out at home in case of a fly ball, center fielder Luis Robert didn’t even bother fielding the ball.
Perhaps it was a bad look for some (it was, if you take a minute and look at the replies on the tweet), but in reality, he stood no chance of getting the runner out at home, regardless of if he caught the ball or not.
The ball landed near the wall.
Now, you could argue that in the event of a stumble, he could have gotten the runner out at home but even in that case, it was extremely unlikely.
If Robert was fielding with his regular positioning, he could have had a slight shot at making the play.
But since the outfield was in, there was no chance.
Perhaps a lot of people don’t like Robert’s style, but he is one of the best defensive center fielders in the game.
He can read a well-struck ball.
In the end, the Dodgers took their record to 39-30 and the White Sox fell to 30-40.
