The MLB London Series is now the talk of the town as the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals, two historic rivals of the National League, meet up for a brief two-game set across the pond.
And so, with the series set to take place soon, those working at London Stadium, the home of the Premier League Soccer club West Ham United, didn’t have too long to turn the soccer pitch into a baseball stadium.
It took countless hours of preparation, but those working at London Stadium were ultimately able to turn it into a baseball stadium in preparation for the big series.
On Twitter, MLB Europe posted a video which shows the total and complete transformation of the stadium.

Obviously, this took much preparation and hard work.
But lo and behold, London Stadium is now set for some baseball.
The London Series has not been played since 2019, when the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox met for a two-game set.
Four years later, it’s two fierce rivals in the National League who will get a chance to play in front of the people of London.
The video is a quick one, but it ultimately shows just how hard it is to completely transform a soccer stadium into a baseball stadium, preparing it for an entirely different sport and an almost entirely different setting.
It’s certainly cool to see all the work that the crews put into this.
Their efforts will soon be rewarded by an exciting matchup between the Cubs and Cardinals.
