The race for the NL West crown is officially over.
With a 4-0 win last night over the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field, the Los Angeles Dodgers reclaimed their spot atop the division, winning their ninth division title in the past 10 years.
After missing out on the division title by just one game last year, Los Angeles is back on top, having run away with it this year.
Last night’s win was their 98th of the season.
And so, the clubhouse let loose last night after the win.
The Dodgers popped some champagne and tasted the glory of victory, with Hanser Alberto saying, “It is time for a Dodgers celebration,” a nice little play on words based off of the late Vin Scully’s catchphrase, “It’s time for Dodger baseball.”

Dodgers Soak Up The Moment
The Dodgers have earned it.
They have been the best team in all of baseball all season long.
The team had a big offseason, signing Freddie Freeman and Tyler Anderson and acquiring Craig Kimbrel.
Then, at the trade deadline, they brought in Joey Gallo.
Of course, it wasn’t an easy ride.
The injury to Walker Buehler put a damper on things, but the Dodgers kept on winning.
And thus, as Alberto proclaimed last night, it is indeed time for a Dodger celebration.
The players let loose and tasted the glory of returning to the top of the NL West.
Now, they’ll look to secure the top seed in the National League and home-field advantage through the World Series should they get there.
Dodger fans have a lot to be excited about as October looms.
This is without a doubt, the best team in all of baseball and a serious threat to win another ring.
