Tim Duncan was the building block behind the San Antonio Spurs’ success.
His presence and dominance on both ends of the floor helped them become a dynasty and one of the most respected franchises in all of professional sports.
Duncan always kept it about business, focusing solely on hoops and giving it his best every time he was out on the floor.
No off-court incidents, no tabloids, no nothing, just hoops.
Notably, it seems like he’s reborn after his retirement, being spotted doing martial arts, riding his bike, and now catching some waves with young center Patrick Ngongba II (via Bleacher Report).

Duncan is now rocking some dreadlocks and going through a bit of a second youth.
He’s always been a bit mysterious, and no one actually seemed to know anything about him personally, but what’s evident is that he loves to stay active.
Duncan used to swim before he got into hoops, so it’s not odd to see him enjoying some time in the water again.
As for his Spurs, they’ve been through some tough years since he retired, but the expectations are back now that they’ve got their hands on Victor Wembanyama.
Needless to say, it might take a while before he’s able to fulfill that unmatched potential of his — if ever.
But he’s going to have two of the greatest mentors any big man could hope for in David Robinson and Duncan, assuming he takes some time off from catching waves to teach him some fundamentals.
