The Philadelphia Phillies are the reigning National League champions.
After making the playoffs last season as a Wild Card team, the Phillies went on an incredible run upsetting three teams to make the World Series.
But, they fell short of the ultimate goal as they lost the Fall Classic to the Houston Astros.
Still, the Phillies should be commended for the great season they had.
That is why they are getting rings for winning the National League pennant.
According to Joe Pompliano, the rings even feature a part of a game ball from the series.
The Phillies received rings for winning the NLCS last year, and each ring has a piece of a game ball from the series.

Some people are probably wondering why the Phillies even get rings for coming in second place.
That is a fair argument to make, but winning the National League is nothing to brush off.
The rings are incredible looking and they signify how good the 2022 season was for the Phillies.
But, as we look at their start to 2023, it appears they are having a bit of a World Series hangover.
The Phillies have a record of 16-19 so far this year.
They are in fourth place in the NL East, and trail the Atlanta Braves by eight games.
Maybe the Phillies are just more comfortable making the playoffs as a Wild Card team.
Just recently the Phillies welcomed Bryce Harper back to their lineup.
He missed the first month of the season recovering from Tommy John surgery.
Harper was a major reason for the Phillies’ playoff success last year.
They need him to once again play at an MVP level to pull themselves out of this early-season funk.
