The Dallas Cowboys needed to make a statement in the Bay area to prove that they were for real this season.
That wasn’t the case, as they could never make it a close game vs. the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night Football.
Kyle Shanahan’s team hit the ground running with some explosive plays and had a two-touchdown lead at halftime, and it all went downhill for the visitors from there.
Dak Prescott was fairly erratic for most of the game, especially in the second half when his team was in desperate need of some momentum.
He completed just 14 of 24 passes for 153 yards, one score, and three interceptions, all while not having a single pass go over 29 yards.
He was also sacked three times and had one carry for two yards.
That’s why bona fide Cowboys fan Skip Bayless took to Twitter to show his frustration about the quarterback’s subpar play, recording himself throwing his Prescott jersey into the trash.
That’s it. I am DONE DONE with Dak Prescott. Jerry should be, too.pic.twitter.com/kwQEgabAkW

Bayless also considered throwing away his Micah Parsons jersey, but he eventually held onto it and left the scene in yet another of his signature videos after every Cowboys loss.
Notably, this isn’t the first time that Bayless has thrown away his Dak Prescott jersey, so perhaps he has another edition still hanging in his closet.
Bayless stated that he was done with Prescott and that Jerry Jones should be too.
In all reality, it’s hard to envision Jones holding onto him beyond this season if he continues to show this subpar level of play, as he’s holding his team back over and over.
