The NFL offseason was a rocky one for the Baltimore Ravens, as it seemed like everything was about to come crashing down for the franchise once it became public that superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson wanted to be traded.
Jackson wasn’t happy with how contract negotiations were going with the team, resulting in him asking the team to trade him, and all signs pointed to that being the final outcome.
While trying to convince Jackson to stay, the Ravens made an unexpected move to sign superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who hadn’t played a game since tearing his ACL in the Super Bowl for the Los Angeles Rams.
Despite Beckham’s questionable injury history and inability to stay healthy for long stretches since his time with the New York Giants, Baltimore was all for bringing him in, and so was Jackson.
On Wednesday, the Ravens’ Twitter account gave a peek at the impact Beckham has had on the fans in Baltimore, with kids going crazy in an effort to get the autograph of the one-time Super Bowl champion.

Beckham has clearly already won over the fans in Baltimore, which is a great sign ahead of a season in which the Ravens could have the most intimidating offense in the NFL.
With Jackson back in the fold and Beckham downfield along with rookie Zay Flowers and star tight end Mark Andrews, Baltimore will be lethal with the passing game, as well as in the run game, with the superstar quarterback always being a threat with his legs.
It’ll be an interesting season, to say the least, for the Ravens, as they could be one of the teams to beat in the AFC.
