Klay Thompson has been one of the best shooters in the NBA for the past decade.
Injuries have slightly slowed him down in the past few years, but for the most part, Thompson has been dominant at his craft.
Thompson and Steph Curry formed the “Splash Brothers” for the Golden State Warriors, and will likely go down as the greatest three-point shooting pairing in league history.
Despite their history and his propensity to help the Warriors win big games, Thompson will suit up for the Dallas Mavericks in 2024.
The Mavericks should compete as one of the top teams in the Western Conference this season, and Thompson should add great value to their roster.
Before the season starts, Thompson is using his skills and talents to help grow the next generation of basketball players.
As was showcased in a recent video shared by Legion Hoops, Thompson led a basketball camp where he gave sound advice about the game and life in general.
“Don’t let anyone take your joy. Remember why you play this game. For the love of the game,” Thompson said.

Thompson believes that a love for the game of basketball can take these young players a long way and that they can do anything in the sport if they set their minds to it.
Becoming a player of Thompson’s caliber took years of hard work and dedication.
While it’s unlikely that anyone at his camp will make it to the NBA, Thompson’s words put them in a winning headspace, if nothing else.
