Josh Allen has quickly established himself as one of the AFC’s top quarterbacks, a big factor in the rise of the Buffalo Bills.
His 6-foot-5 build, along with his strong arm and elite athleticism make him a difficult quarterback to defend.
In a recent video, which was shared by the Bills, via Dov Kleiman, Allen is shown trying to defend one of his teammates.

Didn't go over too well.. 🤣

While Allen is a strong athlete, his skills don’t necessarily translate to the cornerback position.
As seen above, Allen’s performance against his teammate was less than ideal.
He should stick to slinging the ball, keeping it away from defenders, rather than trying to be a defender.
The great news for the Bills is that Allen is under contract until 2026, not likely to make a positional change anytime soon.
While this was just meant to be a humorous video, it does bring about a conversation about the Bills heading into 2023.
Last season, the Bills fell to the Cincinnati Bengals in the divisional round, marking yet another season that they fell short of the Super Bowl.
Allen has ushered in a new era of quarterback play to Buffalo, and the fanbase has rallied around him.
Even though they have won the division for the past three seasons, it hasn’t been enough to propel them into the title game.
What do the Bills have to change within their roster to have a better chance at overall success within their conference?
The answer isn’t having Allen play two-way football, that’s for sure.
