The Miami Heat have plenty to think about right now.
Jimmy Butler is about to enter the final year of his contract, with a player option for the following season.
He’s eligible to sign a contract extension, and word around the league is that he’s looking to sign a max contract.
He’s about to be 35 years old and has struggled with injuries over the past years or so, which is why that could be a bit of a risk.
Nonetheless, it seems like he’s just not going to lose any sleep over that.
Once again, he’s living his best life during his vacation, beating his friends in dominoes and whatnot (via Jimmy Butler & ClutchPoints).

Butler is a fan favorite and his antics on social media are borderline hilarious.
He’s also one of the best two-way players in the league, a guy who has repeatedly proven to be a born leader, and the kind of player who could put his team on his shoulders.
Unfortunately, he and his team have run out of gas by the time they make the NBA Finals.
Bam Adebayo is an elite defender, but they need Tyler Herro to stay healthy when it counts and to get another bucket-getter besides him and Terry Rozier.
Otherwise, perhaps giving Butler that extension might not make much sense, as they just won’t be good enough to get over the hump, and there will be more than enough teams willing to trade for him.
