James Harden’s saga with the Philadelphia 76ers was one of the NBA’s biggest offseason storylines.
He expressed disdain towards team owner Daryl Morey, vowing to never play for him again.
While it took a while to put into motion, the 76ers eventually traded him to the Los Angeles Clippers.
This move pairs Harden with several high-caliber NBA veterans, including his former teammate, Russell Westbrook.
Joey Linn, a beat writer for the Clippers, shared a video of Harden and Westbrook embracing for the first time as Clippers teammates.

This duo is now teammates on their third team, as they have also played together on the Oklahoma City Thunder and Houston Rockets.
Clippers fans will be interested to see how they work together after parting ways with the Rockets.
It didn’t seem to work out with these two sharing the floor in Houston, causing their eventual split.
However, on the Rockets, these two were the team’s lone star players.
In Los Angeles, Paul George and Kawhi Leonard are still on the team as well.
With any luck, these two veterans can break up any tension between the two athletes, hoping to create a cohesive team unit.
Despite having the three-headed monster of Leonard, George, and Westbrook, the Clippers lost in the first round of the playoffs last season.
If Harden can be the type of player that this team has been missing, there is no telling how high their ceiling is moving forward.
His season debut remains to be seen, but when he makes his first appearance, it should be an exciting game to watch.
