The Miami Dolphins started to dream of winning the Super Bowl when they traded for veteran star cornerback Jalen Ramsey earlier this offseason.
He was set to give them a fearsome duo in their secondary that included Xavien Howard, who has made the Pro Bowl in four of the last five seasons.
But Ramsey suffered a knee injury just days ago, and he will miss a large chunk of the upcoming season, dealing the Dolphins a sizable blow to their championship hopes.
But Ramsey is still hanging around as training camp progresses, and he was seen giving instruction to Cam Smith, a corner Miami took in the second round of this year’s draft, via Dov Kleiman on Twitter.
Good to see: #Dolphins star CB Jalen Ramsey won't be able to play until December, but he's already back around the guys to help out however he can.

Smith will move up to second on the team’s depth chart behind Eli Apple, a seven-year veteran the Dolphins recently signed.
Ramsey has been one of the very best at his position for most of his seven-year career, and he spent the last three years and change with the Los Angeles Rams.
The Rams traded for him midway through the 2019 season as they looked to put together a championship team.
In 2021, they finally pulled it off, as Ramsey was named to the All-Pro First Team for the second time in a row and helped them defeat the Cincinnati Bengals in the Super Bowl.
But Los Angeles has basically dismantled part of that squad, and that dismantling included sending Ramsey to Miami after he was involved in a contract dispute.
The Dolphins still have plenty of talent, but perhaps they will have to wait a little longer to claim their first Vince Lombardi Trophy since the 1973 season.
