Being in MLB brings a lot of benefits for the players: showing their talent to a much broader audience, the potential to make much more money, and of course, individual and collective awards, including the most coveted one: winning the World Series.
It’s the start of something really special.

They greeted him like he had just hit a walk-off home run: hugs, jumping around, a lot of noise… pure happiness.
That’s the best way to describe it: they are happy for a beloved teammate, happy because he will start building a great future for himself and his loved ones.
Winn’s talent to play baseball is considerable.
He is much more than just an infielder who can throw the ball really hard.
As a hitter, he has made huge strides this year.
He has spent the whole season in Triple-A, and hit .288/.359/.474 with 99 runs scored, 18 home runs, and 17 stolen bases.
But check this out: since April 25, he is slashing .309/.383/.520 with 17 homers and a .903 OPS.
One of the reasons the Cardinals felt so comfortable trading Paul DeJong at the deadline is because they knew Winn was ready to take over at shortstop.
He is the future at the position for St. Louis, and fans are in for a treat.
