While half a dozen NFL teams are digging deep into the tape and trying to make moves to get their new franchise quarterback, the Chicago Bears’ brass can just enjoy the view.
The Bears are in sole possession of the first selection of the upcoming NFL Draft, and they’re firmly expected to go with Caleb Williams, the consensus No. 1 pick for more than a year now.
That’s why it seems like Williams is already trying to learn the ins and outs of what it is like to be a part of the Bears organization.
With that in mind, he linked up with former Bears QB Nathan Peterman to get some work in and stay sharp ahead of training camp (via Sky Kruse).
Is that former #Bears QB Nathan Peterman working out with future #Bears QB Caleb Williams ?

Of course, Peterman didn’t exactly find much success with the Bears, and the franchise has lacked a clear direction for years now.
But still, he’s an NFL veteran who’s been there and done that.
Williams is one of the most talented quarterback prospects in recent history, and he could be the one who finally turns this ever-struggling franchise around.
The Bears have infamously never had an elite quarterback in their history, and Williams is expected to put an end to those woes and lead them back to contention.
This franchise has been through a lot, and for the first time in decades, it’s finally an exciting time to root for the Bears.
