The Brooklyn Nets will enter the 2023-24 NBA season as a fringe playoff contender after being the favorites to win the title over the last few seasons.
Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving were both traded mid-season last year, and it left the team with Ben Simmons as essentially their franchise player alongside Mikal Bridges.
Simmons was heavily criticized last season due to playing only 42 games for the team and performing poorly in them.
But the three-time NBA All-Star is apparently working on his game this summer.
It was evident from a recent video via NBACentral on Twitter featuring Simmons making 10 consecutive free throws.

Simmons is a professional basketball player for a team in the most competitive league in the world.
So, making 10 free throws in a practice session should not be a huge deal for him.
But considering how much he has struggled to perform over the last few seasons, many are surprised at even the most minor achievements of the 27-year-old.
Speaking of Simmons, he averaged just 6.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 6.1 assists per game last season.
Considering he was making $35.4 million last season, his numbers were abysmal.
Simmons is all set to earn $37.8 million for the upcoming season, and if he fails to improve, the 76ers may not be as patient with him.
But even Simmons indeed struggles again, is there really a trade market for him?
All things considered, for better or worse, the Nets are stuck with him at least until the summer of 2025, when his current contract expires.
