The San Antonio Spurs got a special talent in Victor Wembanyama.
But besides his obvious physical traits and mesmerizing skills, the French big man is also a hard-working guy.
He’s never satisfied and is constantly looking to add more weapons to his repertoire, just like every young hooper should do.
Notably, that means the league could be in a lot of trouble, as the No. 1 pick recently told PJ Hoops that he’s been working on perfecting his skyhook.

Wembanyama claims he wants to add Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s signature shot to his bag, and that’s going to make him borderline unstoppable.
Simply put, there’s not a single player on Earth that could challenge Wemby’s shot as it is, except for maybe Chet Holmgren, Bol Bol, or Kristaps Porzingis.
Adding a move that’s unblockable and uncontestable as it is to his game would make him an even bigger offensive threat.
Draymond Green recently stated that even if Wembanyama never turns out to be as good as we think he could be — at least offensively –, the Spurs can always count on him being an elite rim protector because of his length and defensive instincts.
So, even if he doesn’t knock down threes at a high clip or is constantly leading the break and the offense with the rock on his hands as a playmaker, having him swatting shots into the standings and knocking down skyhooks could still be huge for a Spurs franchise that’s been desperately craving a star since Kawhi Leonard left town.
