Wembanyama is just 19 years old and has his whole career ahead of him.
Although the French superstar has played just five games in the NBA, he has already started impressing many around the globe.
So far, Wembanyama is averaging 20.6 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game for the Spurs.
Moreover, he’s shooting 50.0% from the field and 32.0% from downtown.
Thanks to Wembanyama’s great performances, the Spurs currently boast a 3-2 record, which puts placed them at the eighth spot in the Western Conference.
Sure, Wembanyama has a long way to go to reach his full potential, but fans are currently joyous about the way that he’s playing as a rookie in the NBA.
Wembanyama has a lot of assets in his bag, and combining it with a tough mentality, the Spurs rookie can indeed become the face of the league.
But for now, the Spurs fanbase will hope that Wembanyama can lead them back to the playoffs.
