The 2023 NFL offseason has been something of a whirlwind, with many free agents finding themselves on new rosters.
Fans have witnessed some of their favorite players on the move, looking for a fresh start in a new destination.
While there has been a lot of movement, many talented free agents remain unsigned, including defensive end Yannick Ngakoue.
Ngakuoe recently appeared on the CBS Sports Network, speaking with Jim Rome about his current situation.
When asked why he’s still available, Ngakoue said it’s not a question for him, but rather, a question “for whoever makes those decisions right now.”

Ngakoue is a seven-year NFL veteran and would enter the 2023 season at just 28 years old.
He played in 15 games for the Indianapolis Colts last year, totaling 29 tackles and 9.5 sacks.
While 29 tackles don’t necessarily indicate elite production, many teams across the league would appreciate 9.5 additional sacks from a defensive lineman.
With Ngakoue’s experience, he’ll likely get signed to a roster.
When Rome asked him if he had an ideal landing spot, Ngakoue responded, “Any team in the NFL is an ideal landing spot for me.”
At least publicly, it appears that Ngakoue would be content with any team across the league.
Training camps are slated to begin soon, a time when many teams like to solidify their rosters.
If Ngakoue is going to be signed, it’ll likely happen either before training camp, or right before the season begins.
While it might be surprising to many that Ngakoue remains unsigned, a potential landing spot remains to be seen at this time.
